Echo
Echo, or echocardiography, is a non-invasive diagnostic method that uses ultrasound to create images of the heart. In this test, the doctor uses a small probe placed on your chest to produce ultrasound waves and create images of your heart. This test can assess your heart size, wall thickness, chamber capacity, ventricular contraction function, valve function, and whether there are flow obstacles. This test is usually used to evaluate cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease, heart valve disease, and hypertension, helping doctors better understand your heart health status.
Stress Test
Stress testing is a method for testing cardiac response ability and cardiopulmonary function. In this test, the doctor will have you perform physical activity under the effect of exercise or drugs, such as cycling or treadmill, to reach the maximum load state of your heart. This test can detect your heart's response ability, blood circulation, and respiratory system function during exercise. This test is usually used to evaluate coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, arrhythmia, and other heart health-related diseases.
Holter
Holter monitoring is a method for recording cardiac electrical activity. In this test, the doctor will place a small monitor on your body to record your cardiac electrical activity for 24 hours or longer. This test can detect whether you have arrhythmia, cardiac rhythm disorders, heart rate that is too fast or too slow, and cardiac ischemia. This test is usually used to evaluate arrhythmia, syncope, angina pectoris, and other heart health-related diseases, helping doctors better understand your heart health status.
